Shoofly Farm is a private dressage barn near Houston, in Cypress, Texas. We are all about the animals at Shoofly and it shows! This is a passion, a sport, and a hobby.

We enjoy all breeds of horses and the training of our horses in classical dressage. We host and attend clinics throughout the year. We also take our own horses to our farm in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for several months each summer where they practice the art of Dressage in the mountains and by the river.

Caleb Rathmann is our resident barn manager and trainer and rides with top clinicians to further advance his riding skills to one day become a professional. He shows our horses in competitions around Texas as well as Florida.

Shoofly usually has a baby or two for sale each year, as well as riding horses waiting to meet their new partners. We are happy to assist you in your search for your new horse. We will help you in finding the right stallion for your mare... Or, you may be interested in meeting our own stallion, Tosi.

Shoofly Farm accepts new boarders. Please come see us, visit our facility, meet our horses... You may decide to stay and learn to dance with your horse.
